A plethora of lexis from an english lexicon are based on the hellenic etymology of ancient words. We will systematically, in this post, generate a dialogue on lexis based on the greek word "logos": e.g. logography, logarithm, logician, logotherapy, lexicography.
In a dictionary, an academic or an epistimologist can study on the theory of orthography, etymology, phonology, definitions, categorisation, phrases, synonyms, antonyms, paradigms, statistics, basically all the phenomena of a language.

The genesis of a lexicon is a synthetic ergon (task). A lexicographer is the one who synchronises (combines) harmoniously (and not symptomatically) theory with practise, methodology with system and combines logic, lecture and the methods and techniques of lexicology so as to organise a lexicon.
